Our Expertise

Trabaud Aromatics Laboratories is a ‘Flavour House’ based in Jakarta, Indonesia producing a wide range of flavourings to suit all requirements. We formulate and create flavours, either identical or artificial, from blends and natural raw materials that are produced and distributed throughout Indonesia. Trabaud products are produced primarily in the form of essence, flavourings, oil or paste.

1938

Trabaud was founded by Mr. Muhammad Alhamid in 1930 in a small shop in Surabaya. The business began by importing and exporting essential oils/extracts between Indonesia and Europe.

1960

By 1960 the business had expanded and diversified into two divisions of fragrance and flavor.

1970

The company split into PT. Nilam which today focuses on perfume and fragrance oils and PT. Trabaud Aromatic Laboratories which focuses on flavourings.

1980

Trabaud had become a market leader for flavor and fragrance in Indonesia.

1995

Trabaud moved its operations to a factory in Bekasi and further expanded to another building in 1997.

Now

Trabaud is today managed by Abdullah Alhamid and Sadiq Alhamid. Today Trabaud is one of Indonesia’s leading producers of flavourings for food, beverages, and tobacco. We are also actively working with international partners to utilize our facilities in Indonesia for high quality yet cost effective production.
